We are launching a charity music project to support the Ukrainian people who are currently suffering from the cruel Russia’s war in Ukraine. The whole world is witnessing the unthinkable atrocities which are currently done by Russian troops in Ukraine, where civilians are purposefully tortured, killed, or injured.

Project Goal Setup: Donation funds of 9 million yen (the cost of one ambulance).
We started a charity music project with the help of which we expect to raise a total amount of 9 million Japanese yen and buy an ambulance for the donated money. We hope this initiative will help to save more lives of everyone who needs an emergency rescue in Ukraine.

Active Time: Till August 24, 2023.
The deadline for the Blue Sky Project is August 24, 2023 (Ukraine’s Independence Day). After this date, we will donate the amount collected through United24 (https://u24.gov.ua/) even if the target amount has not been reached at that time.

Backstory from the Singer Leela Mela

Hello everyone. My name is Leela Mela. I am a Ukrainian singer-songwriter currently based in Tokyo, Japan. I am releasing a charity song “Blue Skies” in the Ukrainian language, in the hope to raise funds for medical aid for the victims of Russia’s war in Ukraine and cheer up the Ukrainian people.
I think it’s important to tell a little bit about the backstory of this song’s creation and the meaning of the lyrics.
In Winter 2021-2022 I and Japanese producer/composer Eiichi Saeki were thinking about our collaboration on a new song together, and when at the end of February Russia invaded Ukraine and the whole world was witnessing those terrible atrocities which were unfolding in Ukraine, I’ve got the idea to create a charity music project…
